Chameleon: Chameleons are lizards that are native to Africa, Madagascar, and southern Asia.

They are fascinating creatures that are found all over the world. There are about 200 species of chameleons, and they are most commonly found in Madagascar, Africa, and Asia

Chameleons are amazing creatures. They can change their color to blend in with their surroundings. They change their color by using special cells in their skin, which contain pigments, such as yellow, red and black.

 

Chameleons thermoregulate by changing their body color.
When it is cold: Chameleons darken their skin to absorb more heat.

 

When it is hot: Chameleons lighten their skin to reflect more heat.

 

Chameleons have eyes that can rotate 360 degrees. This gives them a wide field of vision and helps them to spot predators and prey.

 

The chameleon's tongue is very long. They use their tongues to catch prey. They can extend their tongues at lightning speed and catch insects from a distance. and sticky to catch insects.Their long, prehensile tails help them grip branches and stay balanced.Chameleons eat a variety of insects, spiders, and small animals.

Chameleons are popular pets, but they require special care. They need to be kept in a warm, humid environment and have access to a variety of food sources.
