darts

noun

Darts is a game played with small, pointed missiles (also called "darts") that are thrown at a circular target board marked with different sections, including a central bullseye. The objective is to score points by landing darts in specific areas of the board, with the highest scores typically awarded for hitting the bullseye or landing darts in the narrow outer ring. The game is often played in pubs and bars, as well as in organized leagues and tournaments.

Example

  1. Every Wednesday, a group of friends meet at the local pub to play darts and enjoy some beers.
  2. Sarah has been practicing her dart-throwing skills for weeks in preparation for the company's annual tournament.
  3. The dart missed the target board completely and hit the wall, narrowly avoiding a group of onlookers.
