Japanese radish

In Japan, they call this Japanese radish, Daikon, which means "big root" because it can grow really long. It's a long, white radish with a mild, slightly peppery flavor and a crisp texture. Daikon is a popular vegetable in Japan and is used in many dishes, such as miso soup, salads, and pickles.

Examples:

  1. Me and my grandpa went to harvest Japanese radish in the garden.
  2. My mom always put Japanese radish in the miso soup.
  3. We can use the leftover Japanese radish into pickles.
