[Grade 3] Science 005-1 – How to Use a Diffraction Grating Sheet

How to Use a Diffraction Grating Sheet

1. Always Use the Diffraction Grating Sheet to Look at the Sun:

  • Never look directly at the sun with your naked eyes as it can cause severe eye damage.
  • Always use a diffraction grating sheet to safely observe the sun’s light and its properties.

2. Be Careful Not to Drop It:

  • Hold the diffraction grating sheet securely. Make sure you have a firm grip to prevent it from falling and getting damaged.

3. Look Down Before Observing the Sun:

  • Before looking at the sun, position the diffraction grating sheet close to your eyes and look downwards.
  • Slowly raise your head to bring the sun into view through the sheet, ensuring that you are not looking directly at the sun but rather through the sheet.
