Where do we live?

To learn about the landscape and environment of your prefecture, follow these steps:

Step 1 : Look at the map

Find maps of your prefecture and the nearby areas. Look for mountains, rivers, and other  features. You can find out so many things around your place that you live in.

Step 2 : Read books and articles

Find books or articles about your prefecture. Look for information for examples, landscape, weather, plants, and animals. Read these materials to learn more about your environment.

Step 3 : Talk to people

Ask your family, friends, and your neighbors about your prefecture and your surrounding areas. They might have an interesting stories to tell you or facts to share.

Step : 4 Find videos

Search for videos or documentaries about your prefecture. This will help you find out more about where you live.

Step 5 : Write notes

Write down what you learned about your prefecture. It might be a geographical features, or something interesting that you found out. This will help you remember what you've learned.

Step 6 : Compare

Look at the similarities and differences between your prefecture and other prefectures. Search for the landscape, and the environment of the places that might affect the people who live there.

Step 7 : Draw pictures

You can draw pictures or the diagram of the landscape of your prefecture.

Step 8 : Visit places

It would be great if you can go on a trip to see the different places in your prefecture.  You will be able to see it with your own eyes to understand it much better.
