Turkey

Turkey

noun

A turkey is a large bird in North America. It's well known for its distinctive features, like a fanned tail, a wattle neck, and a snood (a fleshy protuberance on the forehead). Turkeys have become culturally significant, especially in the United States, due to their association with Thanksgiving. Beyond this holiday, turkey meat is also popular for its lean protein and is used in various dishes year-round.
